A sober, conscious dance experience for the women who are ready to come home to themselves.

Samhain  • A night of cacao, conscious movement, parts work & unmasking

There are so many versions of you.

The good girl. The strong one. The helper. The successful one. The spiritual one. The responsible one.
The one who holds everyone else together.
The one who never needs anything.
The one who makes herself smaller.
The one who has learned how to be everything everyone else needs her to be.

And perhaps, somewhere along the way, you forgot…

Who are you underneath it all?

Welcome to The Unmasked Dance.

A conscious, sober dance experience created for women who are ready to gently explore the masks they have worn, the parts they have played, and the identities they may have outgrown — and reconnect with the vital essence underneath.

You don't need another version of yourself to become.

You might just need space to remember who you already are.

Through the lens of Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work, we’ll explore the different parts of ourselves that have developed in response to our experiences.

Parts that once protected us.

Parts that helped us belong.

Parts that helped us achieve.

Parts that learned to keep the peace, stay small, stay useful, stay strong or stay in control.

There is nothing wrong with these parts.

In fact, we honour them.

Because they may have helped us survive seasons of our lives that we couldn't have navigated without them.

But sometimes a part that was once necessary becomes an identity we carry long after we need it.

And slowly…

we can lose ourselves inside the role.

What if you could take the mask off?

Not all at once.

Not by forcing yourself to reveal anything you're not ready to reveal.

But through curiosity, compassion, movement and connection.

At this special Samhain portal, trauma-informed women's coach Sarah will guide you through a gentle parts-work practice to become aware of the identities and protective parts you may have become fused with.

We'll explore:

Who am I underneath the role I've been playing?

Which parts of me have been running the show?

What have I been carrying that I no longer need to carry?

What wants to be expressed when nobody is watching?

And perhaps most importantly…

What am I ready to reveal to myself?

There is no fixing.

No forcing.

No pressure to share.

No expectation that you need to have a breakthrough.

You are always in charge of what you reveal, what you explore and what you keep private.

This is an invitation.

Not a performance.

Then we dance.

Because sometimes the body knows before the mind does.

And sometimes there are things we simply cannot think our way through.

Dance teacher and healer, Alison will take us on a journey through music and movement, creating a sensational conscious dance experience where you can move with whatever is alive inside you.

Joy. Anger. Grief. Desire. Playfulness. Freedom. Tenderness. Wildness.

Whatever wants to move.

You don't need to know how to dance.

There are no steps to learn.

No right way to move.

No watching other people to see if you're doing it correctly.

There is no performance here.

You get to dance for you.

You get to take up space.

You get to move slowly.

You get to move wildly.

You get to sit down.

You get to laugh.

You get to cry.

You get to be completely, gloriously yourself.

And we begin with cacao.

We'll gather together and share ceremonial cacao, using this heart-opening ritual as a way to arrive, connect and consciously cross the threshold into the evening.

Samhain marks the Celtic festival of the final harvest and the beginning of winter — a liminal time when the veil between worlds is traditionally believed to be thin.

A time for honouring endings.

For releasing.

For listening inward.

For stepping into the darkness not as something to fear, but as a place where transformation can begin.

You are invited to come dressed up or not.

Trackies, joggers, LBD, full witches outfit.

This is a place to be you and be comfortable being you.

And yes…

come wearing a mask.

Because at some point during the evening, we'll have the opportunity to consciously choose what we're ready to take off.

This is for the ones who have always felt a little bit…

too sensitive.

too intuitive.

too emotional.

too weird.

too much.

The ones who see things other people don't.

The ones who feel deeply.

The healers.

The creatives.

The witches.

The spiritually curious.

The wild-hearted.

The women who have never quite fitted neatly into the boxes they were given.

The women who have spent years being who they thought they were supposed to be…

…and are beginning to wonder what might happen if they stopped.

You don't have to become someone else.

You don't have to heal yourself into perfection.

You don't have to shed every part of yourself.

And you certainly don't have to arrive already knowing who you are.

You can simply come as you are.

Curious.

Messy.

Excited.

Nervous.

Playful.

Tender.

Uncertain.

Bring all your parts.

We'll make space for them.

And then…

we dance.

I feet uplifted and light in spirit.Having worked with you guiding me with different methods such as breathing, meditation, releasing negative energy, positive affirmations and dance helped me move from negative and uncertainty feelings to of joy, peace and being alive from within. It was a WOW experience for me as I learnt new powerful skills to support and celebrate myself.
